I have used this thing times to numerous to count. From my expierences with the tester it has always worked the way I thought it should. I have a normal adapter on my compressor for filling tires with air. I seat it on the valve stem...fill it up to ~7 psi....pull it off.........listen for leaks. It always holds enough pressure long enough for me to be able to find the leak, by myself. I wouldnt directly connect your air compressor to the unit due to the fact that you cant control the amount of air flow into your hoses, you can from the regulator, but I like to have the control right there in my hands.... Overall, I have used this and it has done exactly what it should, IT FINDS LEAKS. You all are saying.... " I made mine for $1.27" , etc etc. and this is possible, however, the boostpro tester is quality made, and is worth the $27 that Chris (Solidpantz) charges... You can make the tester yourself, but if your like me, you dont have time to run around town looking for odds and ends and fabricating stuff, I would rather pay a couple bux and get a decent product. Besides, none of us bought our z because its a "cheap" car to maintain ; ) Come on guys its 27 bux! splurge a little! hahaPS- I too have a leak coming from the rear of my engine, Im thinking possible egr. But maybe that is supposed to happen? it is a very very slight leak....
